A travel day today. As often happens for us, no pictures at all when it's a tiring travel day. This was a Walmart-to-Walmart day. It wasn't planned, but we just couldn't find any appealing campgrounds near here tonight when it was time to stop.
It was a pretty good day after a rocky start. We parked at the Sarnia Walmart in the shadow of hwy 402, then in the morning somehow got going the wrong way on Hwy 40, heading away from 402. The GPS just did not want to get us on to 402 for the bridge crossing, so we finally did it the old-fashioned way, reading the road signs. 😊
No lineup at Customs at 7:30 am. It always throws me though, when they ask "what do you have with you?". I mean it's a camper right, lots of stuff. Eventually we got sorted and allowed to enter the US. I69 is noticeably smoother than it was years ago, with lots of work going on today too.
Auburn IN was a good spot for a Cracker Barrel lunch, meat loaf special today, really good. At the Auburn Walmart I reactivated my Straight Talk hot-spot device and bought a new card. I'm still trying to fully sort it out tonight, but at least our computer can access it for wi-fi. No luck with the phones yet. The Androids were not our friends today for talking to the hotspot.
The overnight low only went down to 21C last night, and it's been a very warm humid day, mostly 33-34C this afternoon and sunny. A pretty day really, but thank goodness our van A/C is working well again. It needed a pricy repair with the other maintenance a couple of weeks ago, worth every penny today.
