Bayfield Mews progress

We were to Bayfield today to get a few things done. 

One thing was to put the van away for the winter, the end of a memorable summer:

We'll be settling in with our Waterloo daughter and family until our new place at the Bayfield Mews is ready to occupy. There were encouragements today. 

Inside painting is well underway:

The flooring tiles were piled up waiting for installation. I forgot to get a picture of the ceramic tile that's going in the hallway and bathrooms, but this is the vinyl plank that will be used everywhere else:

 
We had to ask that the master bath be repainted, as we didn't like the colour match with the master bedroom.

Our patio slab is poured and looks good:

 
The target for bringing in appliances is the week of Nov 18. By then the floors and cabinets should be done. The countertops will follow shortly after. It's going to get done!

    Is mid-Dec. still the date to move in? I hope it's earlier. Love your sweater, Cath.

      They haven't changed ourive in date yet, ( but we are hopeful for earlier). Got the sweater in St. Andrews NB
      Knew I would never knit one that complicated.

      Nope. Thanks to the sliding side door we can slip out there. Its tight though.

      Its a good thing we have lots of pictures and blog posts so we can remind ourselves later on about the summer. So much to remember.

    Coming together very nicely nice home for your Van will be great when you can move in.
    Ours will be finished Nov6 more in date Nov 7th, getting anxious too.

      The van storage is offsite, a storage place on Goderich. We're hoping to get in by the end of November, but not counting on it. Glad you were able to find a place that you like and so timely for you!
