This would be our first trip to Florida (other than a business trip I had to Orlando once). Our camping outfit was our 2005 Tahoe towing our 2007 HiLo trailer. Our dog stayed home with friends. Gas prices were about half what they were a year before, so helped keep the costs down.
We had a nice start on Saturday morning. After a leisurely start we got some errands done in Kitchener/Waterloo (Ontario Canada), and carried on to New Dundee to camp in a friend's driveway overnight. We also dropped off our dog here, she always enjoys visiting. With no dog or doggy supplies in the car or trailer we had a lot more room than usual this trip.
