Stewart to Prince Rupert BC

11C and overcast at 8am PDT. On the way out of Stewart via 37A to 37 we saw a fox, and 3 bears altogether. At Kitwanga we stopped for burgers and fries, and browsed their Art-in-the-Park displays. Up to 21C by noon.

In Terrace we had a Walmart stop. It’s a nice town, with walking trails and greenery, and lots of familiar shops.

By 3:30 we were camped at Prince Rupert RV, near the main ferry landing, $29 unserviced with good washrooms. After cooking a real supper (potatoes, carrots, halibut) we walked the kilometer down to the ferry dock area, nothing going on there though. Several RV’s picked this cg because they were taking an early ferry the next day. We did have a short sit outside before the bugs drove us in.

  1. Our most memorable fishing with Matt and Will was just east of Kitwanga on the Kispiox.
