Kitty Coleman to Telegraph Cove BC

Today we relocated to Telegraph Cove campground, in a forested area just outside of the town. 

After another early start, we were going through Campbell River when we saw these chain-saw carvings on display in a roadside park. The detail was amazing! They are all wood.






 It was a fairly short drive today. With the weekend coming up and no reservations, we wanted to get camped for a couple of days. By checking in about 11 am, we got the last spot in the park. Full hookups and more $$ than the last 2 nights, but good facilities and a 15 minute walk into Telegraph Cove. The little town is very congested, would likely take us the same 15 minutes to drive and get parked.

Here's a few pics of "downtown" Telegraph Cove. It's a small town, with 5 residents in the winter.

We had a nice hike from the campground to a nearby cove, with the tide ebbing out:
