Blomidon Park NS to Valley View Prov Park NS

A sunny morning, the van thermometer said 29.5C first thing, but that was because the front of the van was in the sun on this sunny 18C morning.

Looked like this would have been a nice boondock spot, like this overnighter

The picket fence at the shore was a breakwater to help reduce cliff erosion

We had a bumpy scenic drive over and up to Cape Split Prov Park. There were a number of cars parked there, looks like a good coastal hike that we weren’t prepared to tackle, as it would likely be a 6-8 hour hike for us:

Instead we headed back a bit south to Hall’s Harbour for a walk around.

Some town art, likely about 10 ft tall at the peaks

We carried on to Kentville for fuel and a Walmart stop. Then we drove along #221 to Stronack Mtn Road, out to the coast to East Margaretsville and Margaretsville, where we stopped for lunch at a town park overlooking Fundy, a gorgeous day for it.

Tide is definitely out

By 2:20 pm we were parked in Valley View Prov Park, site 16, $17.65 seniors. Unserviced site and no cg showers, but nice views from a spot 2 sites away from ours:
