A couple of slower days

We've been winding down from our great PEI visit, and preparing to hit the road to New Brunswick Thursday, starting back to Ontario.

Tuesday Cathie and I went out to lunch and split a popular Island specialty that we had never tried - Fries with the Works. Sort of like poutine Plus:

They were yummy and decadent, and a good thing we split an order. Other restaurants in PEI do them with variations, such as using cheese curds as well.

Yesterday evening we went over to Our nephew Matthew and his partner Lyndsay's place for a bbq on their brand new deck. Here's a couple of hungry nephews, Tim and Matt:

Matt and Lyndsay are accomplished climbers, and have a practice wall/ceiling in their basement. Likely will be a little hard to make it out; the wall tapers in as it goes up from the padding on the floor at the bottom of the picture:

Today is Ladies day; Cathie and Nancy went out for pedicures this morning at The Ten Spot:

and will be heading out to see a live performance of Mama Mia in the evening, after their Seafood Extravaganza dinner:
